Why is this not a flavor in the States!?

"I love plums, I buy fresh ones or buy ume plum wine just to eat the pickled ones in the bottle while also enjoying a sip. This was the flavor of plums at its finest. Arguably the most refreshing form I've had of my beloved plums. I've also had plenty of imported sodas, a lot lose a lot of fizz for some reason, but this was bubbly and the bottle was so nice to boot. Almost feel bad tossing the bottle to recycling, but can't catch myself collecting novelty trash, I'll just buy more instead."
